Server Maintenance

Servers need regular maintenance in order to keep them running smoothly. A failed server is always going to be a disaster as it will mean a lot of downtime often for many users in the organisation as everyone accesses the server. Therefore prevention is always better than cure.

19 Computing can maintain your server as part of our IT Support offerings to you. We will ensure that the server is regularly health checked and kept up to date with security updates and other application updates.

We support the following Server operating systems:

  • Windows Server 2003
  • Windows Server 2008 R1
  • Windows Server 2008 R2
  • Small Business Server 2008
  • Windows Server 2012

We also support Exchange and SQL server OS’s.

Server Failure ?

This is never good news and hopefully you have a good backup in place. Perhaps you have not had IT support over many years and your server has just failed and you dont know what to do (and we do see this regularly). We can help and hopefully rescue your server and recover the data or restore from a backup (if there is one). Give us a call and we will visit you for an emergency free of charge assessment in order to give you a quote and action plan.
